CERRO CASTILLO VILLAGE

Being a former sheep farm, it is considered the most extense on the continental part of the Region of Magallanes. It is the principal city in Torres del Paine, having around 300 inhabitants, who in the most part are related to livestock. Cerro Castillo is known for its activities that are an attribute of the Chilean identity, such as shearing, rodeo and Chilean style races. Most parts of its edifications were built during the first part of the XX century.
