How to get there

By sea
From Punta Arenas: There is a craft to Puerto Williams on Wednesdays that returns on Fridays. It is sailed aboard the Ferry “Yagan” from the area of Tres Puentes, in an amount of time that lasts between 28 to 35 hours depending on weather conditions. The ferry is capable of transporting cargo and passengers.

 

By plane
Regular flights in a light aircraft of  DAP airlines departs from Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo Airport in Punta Arenas, in a Twin-Otter aircraft DHC – 6, with a duration of 1:15 hours. It lands on the airfiueld Guardamarina Zañartu in Puerto Williams.

During the high season (November to March) there are regular flights, but it is advisable to book in advance the flight and schedule, because the plane used for this service has a capability to transport 19 passengers.
