Trails inside Torres del Paine National Park

GREY LAKE- ZAPATA LOOKOUT POINT (PINGO VALLEY)
It is an excellent opportunity to discover places not so much visited in Torres del Paine Natonal Park. Nice views of glaciers and Paine Massif. It is possible to see Huemules (an endanger specie of deer) and Magellanic Woodpeckers. This walk goes along the fast-flowing River Pingo, open meadows and Lenga Forest. The trail ends at Zapata Camp, where it is possible to camp, but there isn´t any service available. From the campsite there are two trails, one that goes to Zapata Mountain lookout and the other goes to Pingo Lake and Glacier lookout. The way back is a long the same trail.

TORO LAKE – GREEN LAGOON
It starts close to the Administration of Torres del Paine National Park at La Feria Ravine. During the walk you will cross Lenga Forests, small lagoons full of different species of ducks. From the top of the Toro Range it is possible to observe the Paine Cuernos and Lake Sarmiento.

GREY LAKE BEACH AND PENINSULA
From the Grey Rangers house you will have to cross a hanging bridge over the Pingo River. Then you walk through a Lenga Forest until you get to the beach. The views of the icebergs and glacier are stunning.

NORDENSKJOLD LAKE LOOKOUT
The walk starts in Pudeto, you will pass the Salto Grande, a big waterfall that delivers the water from Lake Nordenskjold to Lake Pehoe. Then the trail continues until you get to one best view of the Cuernos, since you get very close to them.

BLUE LAGOON
You will walk along the Blue Lagoon with nice views of the Torres del Paine. The trail goes through an old Lenga Forest, sadly, this is where the 2005 fire started, but there are still some big trees left.

RANGERS HOUSE – RANGERS HOUSE
This walk starts at Sarmiento Rangers house, and ends at Laguna Amarga rangers house. It is very good for spotting animal such as Guanacos, Pumas, Condor and different species of birds. It is also possible to visit some cave paintings of the Aonikenks.
